My Insights For The SONA 2012

 Achievements Of Our President

                           It was almost two years of Benigno Aquino III for being the president of our country. Last July 23,2012 he delivered his third SONA(State Of The Nation Address) at the Session Hall of the House of Representative ,Batasan Pambansa Comlex,Quezon City.

                           President Benigno Simeon Cojuanco Aquino III had already delivered his  third SONA. He stated the different improvements of our county. He said that we are now improving it's just because we have a unity. He mentioned  the different changes of the launched projects like he wang-wang, that was he usually gave comments since he delivered his speech or SONA since he was elected as the president. Yes, we are already improving because as I was reading the copy of his SONA, I read the different changes  of the different factors of our country like our credits to other country. Last days, we were already the one who credits but now  we were already the one who give credits. He also talked about the second hand helicopter that was bought during the administration of the former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo the the price was like a brand new helicopter. He also mentioned about the impeachment of the former Chief Justice Corona. He said that it was already the start of change for the country.
                             For me, your third SONA was better than your previews SONA. You know why?It was because during your last State Of  the Nation Address we have already saw some improvement of our country. We  have already  started the way going to the  "tuwid na landas". And I hope that this improvement will continue until the end of your administration so that the main problem of our country which was the poverty will solve.

Nutrition Month Celebration

 "Pagkain Ng Gulay Ugaliin,Araw-araw Itong Ihain"

                      We were already in the month of July. The second month of having classes. When we hear the word "JULY", one thing will came up into our mind; July is the month of nutrition.

                   July 2, 2012 was Monday. The Ilocos Sur National High School started to celebrate the nutrition month celebration with the theme, "Pagkain Ng Gulay Ugaliin, Araw-araw Itong Ihain." The step club together with the T.L.E. Department implemented many activities in connection with the nutrition month celebration like the poster making contest, nutriquiz, nutri-jingle and others. They launched this activities to encourage the people especially to the children to eat vegetables. We all know that in this generation we have a modern technologies and that caused people to rash  their breakfast, dinner, and supper by just simply cooking noodles and preserved can goods. From this preserved foods there is possibility that we may get illnesses or diseases. Our school aimed to encourage the mother of the family to prepare healthy foods like vegetables during meal time. So that we can prevent diseases that may occur in our body. And in this way we may earned vitamins, proteins and other benefits.

                        Heath is wealth, we need to care about our health in order to have happy life style. So let us practice to eat healthy foods and vegetables to have a better life and lessen preserved foods.   

Letter to the President

Dear Mr. President,

              A pleasant day to you sir. It was my pleasure to have a chance to write a letter to you. I hope that you can understand the point that I want to express with you.

              Almost two years when the time that you've became the president of our country. During this years, you implemented  many programs for the advancement of our country. Like the Pantawid Pamilya Prrogram, Philhealth and most especially the k + 12 program. But still we can't prevent the big problem of our country which is the poverty. There are many people who do not eat three times a day and I've observed that the number of children along the high ways or the street children with dirty shirts was increases. You launched  the K + 12 program because you know that the students may learn more lessons. You told to us  that if a student can accomplished this new system they have the possibility to work like the college graduate.But, are you sure that this program may solve our main problem?

               As I am thinking about this program, many questions came out  into my mind. Isn't it that our dear parents may spend more money in order to  send us in school? It was June 30, 2010 when you delivered your first SONA (State Of  The Nation Address) and you stated that we will tread the right path for the change of our country. many Filipinos believed to you but as time goes on people asked "where is it now the right path?" But even people said some bad words for the way you rule our country I  still believe that you can solve the main problem  of our country.

                 My letter ends here sir. I hope that you can solve the biggest problem in our country and the other problems that may encounter our country during your administration. And I would like to congratulate you for the other programs that are successfully done in our country. Again, have a good day and good luck!!!
